For such a short post, The Big Lead is able to get so much wrong.
1. ESPN didn’t acquire “a handful of NBA blogs”. They partnered with them to create the True Hoop Network.
2. The Yahoo! Sports-SB Nation deal isn’t “a similar move”, though I suppose it could evolve into something similar on a larger scale.
3. Y! Sports didn’t acquire SB Nation. They partnered with them.
4. SB Nation isn’t a Y! Sports “roll-up”, though, again, I suppose that could happen down the line.
5. Fox Sports isn’t really in competition with Y! Sports and ESPN any longer. It’s a two-horse race, and it has been for over a year now.
6. Etc.
